What we do

Recruiting at academically selective colleges is decided by two things at once: whether a coaching staff wants you, and whether an admissions office can take you.

Most services work on the first. We work on both — because the second is what disqualifies the majority of players who don't end up where they hoped.

THE PROBLEM

The number nobody explains

There's a number called the Academic Index. It runs from 60 to 240 and it's built from two things: GPA and test scores.

Every Ivy program sets a floor. Below that floor, a coach cannot recruit you. Not "it's harder." Cannot submit you — regardless of what your film shows.

The Patriot League runs its own academic standards. High academic Division III programs run theirs. Different mechanisms, same principle: the academic side gates the athletic side, and it's decided before a coach ever makes a call.

Here's what makes it expensive. That number comes from a transcript that takes four years to write and a test score that takes months to move. By the time most families hear the term, it's November of senior year and there's nothing left to pull on.

The families who end up with real choices are almost always the ones who knew their number early.

THE SCOPE

Eight schools, or sixty-eight

The Ivy League is eight schools. The Patriot League is ten. High academic Division III is more than sixty.

Most families spend two years aiming at the first eight and discover the rest in November of senior year — with no relationship to any of those coaches, no film cut for them, and no time to build either.

Three things worth knowing about that list:

The academics hold up. These are not consolation schools. Several are harder to get into than several Ivies.

The money often works better. Neither the Ivy League nor Division III offers athletic scholarships — that surprises most families and gets read as bad news. It usually isn't. Every Ivy and many of these D3 schools meet full demonstrated financial need, and merit aid is common at the rest. It is not unusual for a family to pay less at a top-25 liberal arts college than at their own state flagship.

The playing time is real. At eight schools, you're competing against every high-academic player in the country. At sixty-eight, the odds you're on the floor as a sophomore go up substantially.

Building toward sixty-eight programs instead of eight isn't lowering a target. It's the difference between having options and having hope.

WHY US

We're in the gym

We run the camps these coaches attend. Our founders run the Attitude of Gratitude High Academic circuits, and our team evaluates at the Ivy League elite camps every along with camps and tournaments across the country.

When we tell a coaching staff about a player, it's a conversation with someone who knows us. Not a profile uploaded into a database alongside ten thousand others.

We work the academic side, which almost nobody does. Most recruiting services are exposure businesses — they get a player seen. That's a real service and it isn't ours. We calculate the Academic Index, build target lists against actual program bands, plan the testing timeline backward from pre-read dates, and coordinate the pre-read itself.

One person, start to finish. You work directly with Scott Martin. No account manager, no handoff, no rotating staff. Monthly meetings that get more frequent as deadlines approach, and direct access when something time-sensitive happens — which in this process, it always does.

THE HONESTY BLOCK

What we don't do

We don't guarantee placement, offers, or admission. Nobody can. Coaches make their own decisions and admissions offices make theirs. Any service promising an outcome it doesn't control is telling you something it can't back.

We're not a database. You aren't buying a profile in a system that emails thousands of coaches at once. College staffs have said plainly that mass-uploaded profiles don't get preferential treatment.

We don't do test prep. It's a specialized skill and we're not the right people. When the test score is the binding constraint — which it often is — we'll say so and refer you to someone who does it well. We don't take a fee for that referral.

We won't tell you what you want to hear. If the Ivy path isn't realistic at your profile, you'll hear it in the first conversation, at no cost, and in plain terms.

THE CONSTRAINT

We're not right for everyone

Roughly a third of the families who complete a consultation are told we're not the right fit, and we tell them exactly why. A family fixed on the Ivy League with an Academic Index well below the band is a family we'd disappoint, and taking their money would be the wrong call.

We cap at ten families per graduating class. Not a marketing device — it's the number one person can serve properly at this level of involvement. When a class is full, it's full.

You'll find out this number eventually

Everything else follows from it. Send three things — unweighted GPA, test score, graduation year — and we'll calculate your Academic Index and send back a written fit read across the Ivy League, Patriot League, and high academic Division III.

48 hours. Free. Nothing to buy.
